Security Screen
A window screen that has been
modified to provide a protective barrier to the
window opening via a “trip wire” that
is built into the screen mesh to detect the screen
mesh being cut and a tamper sensor in the frame
that detects the screen being removed from the
window opening.
Wireless Transmitter
A small, low-powered radio transmitter
that sends alarm information to the Control Panel
CPU via radio frequency transmission much like
your cordless phone. Wireless transmitters are
used when it is not possible to run a wire between
the CPU and a detection device.
